Chiropractic Adjustments

Chiropractic adjustments are used to increase joint range of motion, reduce joint pain, and restore function lost due to injury. Adjustments are performed with hands but also with instruments when necessary. They are performed on the spine (neck, upper back, lower back, pelvis), the head, the upper extremities (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand), and the lower extremities (hip, knee, ankle, foot).

Acupuncture (Dry Needling)

Acupuncture or dry needling is a targeted therapy used to relieve muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve movement. This technique involves inserting thin, sterile needles into myofascial trigger points—tight knots within muscles—to release tension, improve blood flow, and promote natural healing. It is highly effective for treating muscle pain, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, helping patients restore function and mobility.

Soft Tissue Manipulation

Soft tissue manipulation is a broad term for various methods to release tension in muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Dr. Tveten uses multiple techniques to help his patients, depending on the condition being treated. Some of these techniques include Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation (IASTM) (also sometimes referred to as “scrapping”), post-isometric release, acupressure or trigger point therapy, etc.

Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is a natural, hands-on treatment that helps relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote relaxation. When combined with chiropractic care, it enhances spinal adjustments by loosening tight muscles, reducing pain, and supporting long-term healing. Together, these therapies provide a holistic approach to pain relief, mobility, and overall well-being.

Ozone Injection/Therapy

Ozone injections are a regenerative therapy used to treat musculoskeletal pain and inflammation. The science behind ozone therapy lies in its ability to enhance oxygen utilization, reduce oxidative stress, and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes.

When injected into or around joints, tendons, or muscles, medical-grade ozone (O₃) triggers a controlled oxidative response that promotes tissue repair. This mild oxidative stress activates cellular antioxidant defenses, enhances blood circulation, and stimulates the release of growth factors. Additionally, ozone has anti-inflammatory properties, making it effective for osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and chronic pain syndromes.

Ozone also has antimicrobial properties and may be applied externally through various methods to support healing burns and infections.

Ozone therapy improves oxygenation and reduces inflammation at the cellular level, supporting tissue regeneration, pain relief, and improved joint function. It offers a minimally invasive alternative for musculoskeletal healing.

PRP Injection

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy is a regenerative treatment that uses the body’s own platelets to promote healing and tissue repair. By concentrating growth factors from a patient’s blood and injecting them into injured or degenerated areas, PRP helps reduce pain, accelerate recovery, and improve joint, tendon, and ligament function. It’s a natural, non-surgical solution for musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain.

Auto Accident Care

Auto accidents can cause whiplash and other musculoskeletal injuries, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. Chiropractic care provides a natural, non-invasive approach to recovery by realigning the spine, reducing inflammation, and restoring function. Through spinal adjustments, soft tissue therapy, rehabilitative exercise, and various other treatments, we can help relieve pain, promote healing, and prevent long-term complications from auto accident injuries.

According to the Utah Crash Summary Crash Statistics, over 60,000 car accidents occur each year in the state of Utah. Unfortunately, many injuries sustained by those involved go untreated due to confusion surrounding auto accident insurance claims. We strive to eliminate all confusion and educate our patients on the steps they must take to ensure their health needs are covered.

We provide professional injury evaluation and treatment tailored to your specific needs. Our care is simple, effective, and outcome-driven, designed to decrease pain in the short term and prevent chronic symptoms from sneaking up in the future.

Sacro-occipital Therapy

Sacro occipital therapy, or SOT, recognizes the important role of normal cranial function and dural tension in health and disease. The cranial bones and other cranial structures can cause nervous system problems that most providers often overlook or ignore. Specific indicators and palpation are used to locate and correct problems.

Decompression Therapy

Spinal decompression therapy is a non-surgical treatment designed to relieve pressure on the spine, helping to alleviate low back and neck pain caused by herniated discs, sciatica, and degenerative conditions. This gentle, traction-based technique promotes spinal alignment, improves circulation, and supports natural healing, offering a safe and effective alternative for long-term pain relief.
